I swear to the gods, the telemarketer I just talked to was sloshed, completely sloshed. I just can't describe to you exactly how strange of an experience that was. A drunken. friggin'. telemarketer. I mean, I know the job must suck, but come on, you could at least show up to work sober. I mean, I guess that's what the world is coming to though...
In other news, I seem to be recovering all right... although I still haven't made the shift to solid foods yet. Honeslty, I so miss MEAT. I could really go for a ham sandwhich with mustard, and maybe some pretzels on the side... mmmm... pretzels. I can probably shift to softer, but chewable foods tomorrow - if I continue to heal on schedule - but it'll probably be until next week before I can shift to harder foods. So, pretzels are right out for now. Grrr...
Tomorrow I make the drive up to Eau Claire to see Erin - which I'm very excited about. I haven't seen her for two weeks now. I know, I know, two weeks doesn't seem like that long, but I'm allowed to complain dammit! Why? Because I said so. Either way, I'll be happy to see her. Plain and simple. This whole long distance thing kind of sucks, but it's worth it. She's worth it.
I've still yet to send in my application to UW-Milwaukee, although I've already completed my application for UW-Eau Claire. I know the plan was to stay in Milwaukee, but I've been leaning towards the city of clear water more and more lately... I don't know. I mean, originally Eau Claire was the backup plan, while Milwaukee was the main focus. Lately though, my priorities have flip-flopped, and my choice of schools has been changed vice-versa. Meh, I'll figure it out.
